Padstow Sea Life Safaris is a local a family business that aims to offer customers the chance to experience the rich and diverse marine wild life that the North Cornish Coast has to offer in a safe and responsible manner. Our ethos is in sensitive wild life observation without disturbing their nature habitat.
Your safety and comfort are paramount to us. All passengers are personally fitted with life jackets and a safety briefing given before departure of every trip. Waterproofs are available on request. We understand that some people may have a disability or are just concerned about the boat, just tell us and we will do our utmost to help.
The vessel carries Third Party Insurance (excluding personal effects) and is fully licensed.
About the Rugged Cornish Coast
The North Cornish Coastline is some of the most rugged and beautiful in the British Isles. We give you a unique view of the cliffs and take you to places that you could not see from shore. When weather permits we will take you inside caves where you will see wild life at its best. This coastline has some interesting history and great stories of ship wreaks.
About the Boat
Ocean Voyager is a 10m Humber Quinquari Rib with twin Evinrude 200bhp out board engines and has a cruising speed of 30 knots and a top speed of 50 knots. Because of this speed we are able to cover more ground and locate more wild life. The MCA considers RIBs to be suitable for up to a maximum of 12 passengers and 2 crew.
About About your Skipper - Ian Kitto
Ocean Voyager is skippered by Ian Kitto who has grown up in Padstow and spent his life going to sea with his father Andrew from an young age. He has gained extensive local knowledge and has had 11 years experience in operating commercial passenger vessels. As well as being more than qualified to skipper this vessel he is a volunteer member of the Padstow Life Boat crew.
