The Skipper and Crew

With over 25 years experience, our team of skippers are the best in the business.

Meet the team!

Ian Kitto

 Owner / Head Skipper

Ian Kitto has grown up in Padstow and spent his life going to sea with his father Andrew from an young age. He has gained extensive local knowledge and has had 19 years experience in operating commercial passenger vessels. As well as being more than qualified to skipper this vessel he is also a keen fisherman and volunteer member of the Padstow Life Boat crew.

Jenny

Head Guide

Since moving to Cornwall from Aberdeen in 2010 to study Zoological Conservation, Jenny has developed a great passion for the sea, building up a superb knowledge of Cornwall’s marine life. Jenny is an active member of the Cornwall Seal Group, collecting seal data on our trips – identifying seals by their markings and getting to know who some of our regular seal visitors are. In her spare time she also volunteers for the British Divers Marine Life Rescue, helping to rescue sick and injured seals as well as other stranded marine life around our coast.

Kevin

Senior Skipper

Kevin has been skippering for us since 2015. He has 35 years experience at sea working on fishing boats and has been a volunteer member of the Padstow Lifeboat crew for 26 years. In his spare time he enjoys sailing and taking his boxer dog Maddie out for walks along the Cornish coast.

Jack Carter

Skipper

New to the team, Jack brings his wealth of maritime knowledge both from his previous sailing careers and in-depth marine life experiences. Jack’s been part of world class race teams on board some of the worlds biggest and best maxi yachts, taking him to all 4 corners of world. A great asset to our team!
