What can you guarantee we will see?
When it comes to viewing wild animals, there is nothing we can guarantee 100% as wildlife can be unpredictable. Seals are seen on 95% of our trips so it is rare not to see seals and there is always an array of birdlife around. Dolphins are seen regularly and can be seen all year round but there is no real pattern to where or when we will see them, nor is there a better time of year or day. Puffins nest from mid April to late July, but as they burrow underground while nesting, we may not see them on every visit to “Puffin Island”. Basking sharks may be seen around Cornwall from May to August (usually spotted around South Cornwall first) but are seen rarely with no specific pattern to their sightings. Because of this unpredictability, every trip is different and every wildlife sighting is special!

Will we get wet?
We do not get wet on every trip, but being an open RIB we are exposed to the elements, and on windy days chances of sea spray are much greater. We do recommend a waterproof jacket if you have one, at least to keep the wind off and keep you warm (it gets cold out at sea even on warmer days). We have waterproof tops and trousers you may use if it looks like a wet day.
What if it is raining?
Our trips still run on rainy days. Rain does not deter the marine life (they are wet anyway!) so we simply wrap you up in waterproofs and go for it!
What if my trip is cancelled?
If we need to cancel your trip due to rough sea conditions or minimum passenger numbers (4) not being met, we will offer to reschedule you for a later date. If this is not possible, we can issue you with a full refund. Please note: If you cancel a booking yourself, we require 24 hours notice to be able to issue a refund.
Can I bring my dog?
Well behaved small to medium sized dogs are permitted on our boats, however, often dogs do not like the sensation of being on a bouncy boat so please take this into consideration.
Is there an age limit?
We take from ages 2 and up (babies are not permitted). Please be advised that our boats travel at speed and can be very bouncy which some young children enjoy but others are not so keen on. Individual children’s suitability is at your discretion.
Do you allow pregnant women?
Due to the bouncy nature of the boat and the unpredictability of sea conditions, we advise against our tours for pregnant women.
I have back problems. Are your trips suitable?
All of our trips travel at speed and can be bouncy so we generally do not recommend our trips for those with back problems.
I have mobility issues. Will I be able to access the boat?
Access to the boat will either be down steps on the harbourside with a large step down into the boat or using a step ladder from the beach (at low tide). We have taken many passengers with mobility issues and our crew are very accommodating to give assistance where necessary. As long as you can make it up/down a flight of stairs either with or without assistance, you should be fine to access the boat. We recommend finding a trip outside of low tide so access on and off the boat is from the harbourside. For more information and guidance, please get in touch.
Do you have wheelchair access?
Due to the nature of the boat and harbour access, we are unable to cater for those who are wheelchair bound and/or unable to make it down the stairs on the harbourside.
I have a discount voucher. How do I use it?
If you have a discount voucher from a promotional booklet/magazine then please call our office on 07754822404 to book at the discounted rate. You must show your voucher on arrival for your trip or you will be charge the extra that has been discounted.
I have a voucher from a third party company. How can I redeem it?
If you have a voucher from one of our third party partners (Virgin Experience Days, Red Letter Days, Into The Blue, lastminute.com, Five Star Days, etc.) please email us with your voucher details (this will either be a serial number and PIN or a voucher reference number), a contact phone number and the date you would like to book for and we can redeem your voucher and book you in for your desired date.
